Most Democrats and many Republicans believe that the Hunter Biden Laptop was not genuine and instead a product of Russian disinformation.
In truth, it was always clear to anyone who looked carefully that the laptop was what it appeared to be.
The New York Post published both the FBI subpoena showing it had confiscated the laptop from a Delaware computer store owner, in December 2019, and a receipt signed by Hunter Biden.
Hunter Biden himself never denied the laptop was his.
And now we know that it was Secretary of State Antony Blinken who inspired the former Acting Director of the CIA to get 51 former CIA and other intelligence community (IC) officials to write a letter falsely claiming the laptop had “all the earmarks” of Russian disinformation.
And yet Hunter Biden Laptop denialism persists. Why is that?
