I've never thought of myself as any sort of environmentalist, but the images of those majestic beasts washed up on the ugly shores of New Jersey is utterly heartbreaking.

But hey, all of those "Save The Whales" bumper stickers were long ago plastered over with BLM fists.

So 10 dead whales washed up on the shore. And how many died but didn't wash up on the shore? This is awful!! Windmills are destructive to the environment. What was the saying back during the Vietnam war: "We had to destroy the village to save it." So they will destroy the whales and other sea life for some trivial amount of electricity. STOP!!

Some people refer to wind turbines as spinning green crucifixes. See here> https://envmental.substack.com/p/sacrificing-humanity-on-the-green

Also Bird Choppers. Which is what they do. Day and night, day after day, without mercy to all the creatures they kill.

In California, the wind farms are slaughtering golden eagles; in Michigan, they are chopping endangered bats. There is no greater threat to our endangered species than this blind, hysterical rush to wind turbines entirely without thoughtful, honest or accurate environmental impact statements being prepared. Now, those statements are written in the blood and carcasses of endangered species.

I wonder when we’ll see video’s of Greenpeace taking over wind turbines and attacking the construction vessels?

When they posted a vid of a Shell service platform being boarded by Extinction Rebellion pirates this week, we asked them if they could use their skills to commandeer an LNG tanker and send it to Pakistan. Seems the least they could do after causing Pakistan to be priced out of the LNG market (which see here >) https://envmental.substack.com/p/sacrificing-humanity-on-the-green-16c

"Right whales were a preferred target for whalers because of their docile nature, their slow surface-skimming feeding behaviors, their tendency to stay close to the coast, and their high blubber content (which makes them float when they are killed, and which produced high yields of whale oil). Although the whales no longer face pressure from commercial whaling, mankind remains by far the greatest threat to these species: the two leading causes of death are being struck by ships and entanglement in fishing gear. Today, the North Atlantic and North Pacific right whales are among the most endangered whales in the world." - Wikipedia

One of the problems with global warming alarmism is that it takes attention away from pressing problems we can address - like overfishing - and it imposes solutions that are as bad or worse for the planet than carbon emissions. For example the amount of environmental destruction that will be caused through mining to build electric batteries if we are forced to use electric cars will be incalculable.

Modern environmentalism is a theology. The acolytes of this religion cannot assess any externalities of new proposals they repeatedly demand. The world will end ten years from [enter today's date]. There's no time to think rationally.

Whale watching is one of the most awesome and beautiful experiences I’ve been fortunate enough to have a few times. Even my school aged children have seen blue whales off the California coast. There is something heart breaking about seeing an animal an majestic and beautiful as a humpback washed up on a beach like a giant blob. Self-proclaimed progressives and “climate warriors” pushing these ecologically destructive “energy” projects are so heartless. They have no appreciation for the natural world. 💔

Ideologically captured movements, which accurately describes the Democrats, always jettison 1st principles in favor of obtaining, maintaining, and expanding power. The American working class, Asians, and blacks were largely abandoned by the party in favor of the very poor, the very wealthy, and illegal immigrants.

The contrast between this and the Oregon spotted frog is pretty incredible. The Oregon spotted frog is threatened species, but yet is still able to choke to death an entire farming community (Culver, Oregon). The North unit irrigation district (Madras and Culver Oregon area) produces about 60% of the worlds carrot seeds and a high percentage of onion seeds. This is being accomplished via the endangered species act with environmental litigation. 50% or more of the fields are barren now due to a lack of water that must be sent down stream in the winter rather than stored and it will only get worse as the required water flow in winter in increased and the reservoirs dry up.

Wind iis a SCAM and offshore wind is a super Scam. ANTI-SCIENCE = Anti-Nuclear Love it. Wind supporters from the New Jersey chapters of the Sierra Club and League of Conservation Voters say talk of a connection with whales is baseless and no reason to stop the development of clean energy.
